Abstract
A case of pseudocyst of the pancreas in reported with review of relevant literature.
Scout film showed a suspicious space occupying mass at the upper abdomen with peritonitis signs.
The pseudocyst may be developed following blunt trauma on the upper abdomen two months ago and it is presumed perforated vigorous massage upon the upper abdomen in order to relieve his persistent chronic gastritis like symptoms.
Laparotomy showed it located between the greater curvature of the stomach and the transverse colon which was pushing the pyloric portion upward.
It could be rather easily excised and no complication was confronted postoperatively.
